Tom Morello, born on May 30, 1964, in Harlem, New York, is a celebrated American guitarist, singer, and political activist. Raised in Libertyville, Illinois, Morello developed a passion for music and politics during high school. He later attended Harvard University, earning a degree in Social Studies.
Morello is best known for his role in the rock band Rage Against the Machine, which he co-founded with Zack de la Rocha after his earlier band, Lock Up, disbanded.
