Tiësto

Tijs Michiel Verwest (born January 17, 1969) was born in Breda, Netherlands. He is a famous Dutch DJ and music producer. He is professionally known as Tiësto. He is often called the "Godfather of EDM" and is highly respected in the electronic music world. In 2010/2011, fans voted him "The Greatest DJ of All Time," and DJ Mag readers named him the "best DJ of the last 20 years" in 2013. Tiësto began making a name for himself in the late 1990s. Tiësto was crowned the world’s No. 1 DJ for three consecutive years, from 2002 to 2004. A major milestone in his career was performing live at the 2004 Summer Olympics opening ceremony in Athens, becoming the first DJ to ever perform at the Olympics.
