Thrice

Thrice is a rock band from Irvine, California, formed in 1998 by high school friends Dustin Kensrue (guitar/vocals) and Teppei Teranishi (lead guitar). The band initially gained fame for their energetic melodic hardcore sound, characterized by heavy guitar distortion, intricate lead parts, and complex rhythms. This style was showcased in their early albums, The Illusion of Safety (2002) and The Artist in the Ambulance (2003).

In 2005, Thrice shifted their musical approach with Vheissu, adding electronic beats and experimental elements, marking a significant evolution in their sound.
