The Script

"The Script", an Irish rock band, originated in Dublin in 2001. Comprising of lead vocalist, keyboardist, and guitarist Danny O'Donoghue, lead guitarist Mark Sheehan, and drummer Glen Power, the band quickly gained popularity in their home country before moving to London to sign with the Sony Label Group imprint Phonogenic. The Script's debut album, self-titled "The Script," was released in August 2008, with the debut single "We Cry" gaining significant attention. The album featured other popular singles such as "The Man Who Can't Be Moved," "Breakeven," and "Before the Worst." The album was a commercial success, topping the charts in both Ireland and the UK.

Their following three albums, "Science & Faith" (2010), "#3" (2012), and "No Sound Without Silence" (2014), also reached number one on the album charts in Ireland and the UK. "Science & Faith" additionally achieved success in Australia, reaching number two, and in the United States, where it reached number three on the Billboard 200 chart.
