Augustine Miles Kelechi Okechukwu (born December 17, 1992) was born in auchi, Bauchi State, Nigeria. He is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is professionally known as Tekno. Tekno first entered the music industry under the banner of K-Money Entertainment, where he released his breakout single, "Holiday," featuring the acclaimed Davido. The track received widespread acclaim, solidifying Tekno's presence and earning him substantial airplay.
In a serendipitous turn of events, Tekno's talent caught the attention of renowned Nigerian comedian Julius Agwu in 2012, following a captivating performance of his remix of Ice Prince's "Oleku" titled "Onye Ne Kwu." This encounter led to a pivotal meeting with Iyanya and Ubi Franklin, the manager of Made Men Music Group, fostering a friendship that would encourage Tekno to relocate to Lagos to further cultivate his musical journey.
