Tamino-Amir Moharam Fouad (born October 24, 1996) was born in Mortsel, Antwerp, Belgium. He is a Belgian-Egyptian singer, musician and model. He is professionally known as Tamino. His lineage includes his grandfather, the renowned Egyptian singer and movie star Muharram Fouad. Tamino's musical journey began when he honed his vocal skills at the Amsterdam Royal Conservatory at the age of 17.
In November 2016, his exceptional talent caught the attention of Belgian band Het Zesde Metaal, who invited him to perform in a Radio 1 session. It was during this time that Tamino's debut single, "Habibi," made a lasting impression, earning him instant recognition on Radio 1.
In 2017, Tamino's rising star was solidified when he emerged victorious in a new musical talent competition hosted by Studio Brussels. Subsequently, he captivated audiences with his live performances, earning him the nickname "the Belgian Jeff Buckley" after a memorable show at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels on October 11, 2017.
