Brandon Scott (born September 11, 1996) was born in Eltham, London, England. He is a British rapper, singer and boxer. He is professionally known as Swarmz. His passion for music was heavily influenced by his family's love for Jamaican music, and he started rapping with his friends during his school years.
In addition to his musical talent, Scott is also a boxer. However, it is his music career that has gained him widespread recognition and popularity. He began making music as a hobby while pursuing his youth football career. Initially, he started by creating freestyles on SoundCloud under the name Swarmzy-B. He later shortened it to Swarmz when he decided to pursue music professionally.
In 2017, Scott released his first music video titled "Money," which garnered over 200k views on YouTube. This was followed by the release of "Murda" in early 2018. However, it was his breakthrough single, "Lyca," released later that year that truly propelled him to fame. The song went viral and earned him a record deal with Virgin Records.
Swarmz continued to release hit tracks such as "Bally" and "Motorola," which further cemented his place in the music industry. He collaborated with fellow artists such as Tion Wayne and KSI, featuring in the latter's single "Houdini," which reached number 6 in the UK Singles Chart in 2020.
However, his rise to fame has not been without its setbacks. In May 2020, Scott was involved in a car accident while shooting a music video. A Ferrari 488 he had rented for the video crashed into a bus in London's Trafalgar Square. Although he shared videos of the smashed car on his Instagram account, no injuries were reported, and no arrests were made.
Despite the accident, Swarmz continues to thrive in his music career, with fans eagerly anticipating his future releases. His unique style and fusion of various genres have endeared him to many, making him a household name in the British music industry.
