Summer Walker

Summer Marjani Walker (born April 11, 1996) was born in Middlesborough, Georgia, United States. She is an American R&B singer. She is professionally known as Summer Walker. After signing with Love Renaissance and Interscope Records in 2017, Walker made her mark on the music scene with the release of her mixtape "Last Day of Summer" in 2018. The tape featured her breakout single "Girls Need Love," which became her first top 40 hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart after a remix featuring Drake was released.

In 2019, Summer Walker dropped her debut studio album, "Over It," which received critical acclaim and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and broke the record for the biggest streaming debut-week ever for a female R&B artist.
