Sky Tonia Ferreira (born July 08, 1992) was born in Los Angeles, California, United States. She is an American singer-songwriter, model, and actress. She is professionally known as Sky Ferreira. first gained recognition in her teenage years by sharing self-composed songs on Myspace. Her talent caught the attention of producers Bloodshy & Avant, leading to a recording contract with Parlophone in 2009. In 2011, she released her debut extended play (EP) titled "As If!", which blended elements of electropop and dance music.
Following her debut EP, Ferreira unveiled her second EP, "Ghost," in 2012. This release showcased a shift towards pop music with more stripped-down compositions.
