Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu (born 11 June 1993 – died 29 May 2022) was born in Moosa, Mansa district, Punjab, India. He is an Indian Punjabi singer, songwriter, and actor who has become a household name in the Punjabi music industry. He is professionally known as Sidhu Moose Wala. Sidhu was shot dead by unidentified assailants on 29 May 2022; a Canada-based gangster, active in Punjab, claimed responsibility for the killing, which the police said was a culmination of inter-gang rivalry.
Sidhu started his music career in 2016 with the song "License." The song was an instant hit and introduced him to the Punjabi music industry. Since then, he has released several hit songs, including "So High," "Warning Shots," "Same Beef," and "It's All About You."
