Shantanu Mukherjee (born September 30, 1972) was born Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, India. He is an Indian playback singer, music composer, and television host who has contributed significantly to the Indian music industry. He is professionally known as Shaan. Shaan started his music career in the 1990s and quickly became one of the most popular playback singers in Bollywood.

Shaan is known for his melodious voice, versatility, and ability to sing in multiple languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, and Kannada.
