Ricky Montgomery

Ricky Montgomery, born Richard “Ricky” Owen Holmes Montgomery on April 3, 1993, is an American singer and songwriter. He was raised in Los Angeles, California, but moved to St. Louis, Missouri, with his mother in 2005. Ricky’s music journey began at age 14 when he played in local bands in West St. Louis County. He contributed to indie groups like Adversary In Arms, Carpathia, and Henry On The Run before starting his solo career.

Ricky gained popularity on Vine, which boosted his music career. In 2014, he released his debut EP, Caught On The Moon. Two years later, the songs featured in this EP were part of his first full-length album, Montgomery Ricky (2016). In 2018, Ricky formed a band called The Honeysticks with Caleb Hurst, Benjamin Russin, and Ryan Fyffe.
