Dequantes Lamar (born October 4, 1989) was born in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. He is an American rapper who rose to prominence in the early 2010s. He is professionally known as Rich Homie Quan. Quan initially gained recognition with his mixtape releases and captivating melodic delivery. He was previously signed to labels T.I.G. Entertainment and Motown, and is an independent artist as of 2021.
In 2012, Quan's song "Differences" served as the lead single from his mixtape "Still Going In." The following year, he embarked on a tour with Trinidad James and collaborated with Gucci Mane on his album "Trap House III."
