Michael David Rosenberg (born May 17, 1984) was born in Brighton, England, United Kingdom. He is an English singer-songwriter who creates indie folk music. He is professionally known as Passenger. From 2003 to 2009, Rosenberg was the lead singer of a band called Passenger. When the band broke up, he decided to keep using the name Passenger for his solo music career.

Passenger is best known for his 2012 hit song "Let Her Go." This song became very popular and reached the number one spot in 16 countries. The music video for "Let Her Go" has over 3.6 billion views on YouTube, making it the most-watched Australian video on the platform.
