Niall James Horan (born September 13, 1993) was born in Mullingar, Ireland. He is an Irish singer-songwriter, professionally known as Niall Horan. He gained worldwide fame as a member of the popular boy band, One Direction, which formed during the seventh season of the British television show, The X Factor, in 2010.
Horan's interest in music began at a young age, and he taught himself to play guitar.
