William Mezzanotte (born November 9, 1994) was born in Isernia, Molise, Italy. He is an Italian rapper. He is professionally known as Nayt. At a young age, Nayt moved to Rome, where he began his musical journey by writing his first pieces in 2009.
In 2011, Nayt released his debut single titled "No Story" under the independent label 40 Ladroni Records. This marked the beginning of his professional career in the music industry. Following his initial success, he released his first studio album, "Nayt One," on May 7, 2012. Continuing his creative momentum, Nayt released his first mixtape, titled "Shitty Life Mixtape," on February 14, 2013.
After a period of being an independent artist, Nayt joined the independent record label VNT1 Records in 2014. This collaboration led to the release of his EP, "Six of Sixteen," on February 21 of that year. Nayt's second mixtape, "Raptus," followed on May 28, 2015, featuring notable singles such as "Raptus," "Noi due," "Dal cielo," "Another declaration of love," "Mama," "Come voglio," and "L'antidoto." These tracks showcased Nayt's evolving style and lyrical prowess.
On January 12, 2016, Nayt released his second studio album titled "One Kiss." Later that year, on May 16, the album was reissued, including the six tracks from the "Six of Sixteen" EP. This reissue further solidified Nayt's growing reputation as a skilled artist. In 2017, he unveiled his third studio album, "Raptus 2," which was met with critical acclaim.
During his career, Nayt has collaborated with various artists, including Tha Supreme on the successful single "Oh 9od," which reached the twelfth position in the Italian FIMI charts. He also made an appearance on the album of Izi Riot, featuring in the song "Matrix."
Nayt's most significant achievement came with the release of his fourth studio album, "Raptus volume 3," on March 15, 2019. The album, released under the Jive Records label and distributed by Sony Music, achieved remarkable success, reaching the second position on the weekly FIMI chart. To celebrate the completion of the four-year trilogy, the entire "Raptus" series was reissued as a box set titled "Raptus Collection" on May 10, 2019.
Continuing his musical journey, Nayt released the single "Good Vibes" featuring Gemitaiz on November 7. In 2020, he dropped the singles "Passala" on January 24, "Come me" in collaboration with Jamil on February 7, and "Fight!" with Il Tre on February 27. Nayt further expanded his repertoire by collaborating with rapper Nicola Siciliano on the track "Trip," released on March 14, 2020.
Beyond his musical endeavors, Nayt released an autobiographical book titled "I don't want to do normal things" on October 13, 2020, published by Mondadori Electa. This book provided fans with insights into his personal experiences and artistic journey.
On December 4, 2020, Nayt released his studio album "Mood." The album showcased his growth as an artist and garnered significant attention. In April 2021, Nayt made a guest appearance on Thirteen Pietro's EP, featuring in the song.
