Nasty C

Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo (born February 11, 1997) was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a South African rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He is professionally known as Nasty C. After the passing of his mother who was involved in a fatal car accident when he was 11 months of age, he relocated to Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal to be raised by his father, David Maviyo Ngcobo, who is a human resources manager. Nasty C has released three mixtapes, one of which is "Undisputed," and two EPs before he released his debut album, Bad Hair, in 2016. His second album, Strings and Bling, followed in 2018, which was associated and supported by his first tour, The Ivyson Tour.

At the 2015 South African Hip Hop Awards, Nasty C was recognized as the youngest recipient of the Best Freshman Award, alongside Aewon Wolf and many others, an accolade that set him on a path towards greater success. In March 2020, Nasty C signed a joint venture deal with Def Jam Records, one of the most prominent music labels in the world.
