MoKenStef

MoKenStef was an American R&B trio from Los Angeles, active from 1994 to 2000. The group’s name combined the first syllables of the members’ names: Monifa, Kenya, and Stefanie. They gained recognition with their debut album Azz Izz in 1995, featuring their biggest hit, "He's Mine", which reached #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and charted at #70 in the UK. Their follow-up single, "ѕєx in the Rain", was less successful, peaking at #41 on the US R&B chart.

The trio’s break came when they impressed producers at Outburst Records, a label under Def Jam, during an impromptu performance.
