Maninderjeet Singh Buttar, popularly known as Maninder Buttar, is a renowned Indian singer and songwriter, mainly famous for his work in Punjabi music. He has made a significant mark in the industry with hit songs like "Yaari," "Sakhiyaan," "Ik Tera," "Pani Di Gal," and "Laare." His song "Sakhiyaan" achieved massive success, surpassing 616 million views on YouTube. In 2015, his track "Yaari" was nominated for "Most Popular Song" at the PTC Punjabi Music Awards.
Buttar gained further fame with his song "Sakhiyaan," which topped the Gaana charts as the most popular Punjabi song in 2018 and remained in the top ranks throughout the year. In 2014, he also sang "Dil Nu" for the Punjabi romantic comedy film Oh My Pyo.
