Kenyatta Lee Frazier Jr., better known as Ken Carson, is an American rapper and producer born on April 11, 2000, in Atlanta, Georgia. He gained attention through his early music on SoundCloud and collaborations with Playboi Carti, a prominent rapper from the same city. In 2019, Carson joined Carti's label, Opium, which is under Interscope Records. This partnership marked the start of his professional music career.
Ken Carson released his debut album, Project X, in 2021, introducing his unique sound to a wider audience. His second album, X, came out in 2022 and landed on the Billboard 200 despite receiving mixed reviews. However, his third studio album, A Great Chaos (2023), marked a turning point. It reached No. 11 on the Billboard 200 and was better received by critics. The album’s deluxe version included the single “Overseas,” which became his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100, showcasing his growing popularity.
