About KayyKilo
KayyKilo, born Kiara Celestine Danielle on August 4, 1998, is an emerging rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She discovered her passion for music in 6th grade, inspired by Lauryn Hill’s poetry and the unique styles of Missy Elliott, Trina, Lil’ Kim, and Eve. Initially writing poems, her love for rap grew after encountering Nicki Minaj’s music. During high school, she recorded her first song, a cover of Meek Mill's "I’m a Boss," produced in a basement.
She originally went by the name Kaycee and uploaded songs to YouTube. After high school, KayyKilo moved to Houston, Texas, to advance her music career. However, the plan didn’t work out, and she returned to Baton Rouge, facing personal challenges, including becoming a mother. At 17, she stepped away from music and moved to Atlanta, where she became a fitness trainer. She even worked with Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Rico Love.
