Katelyn Marie Tarver (born November 2, 1989) was born in Glennville, Georgia, United States. She is an American singer-songwriter & Actress. She is professionally known as Katelyn Tarver. Over the years, she has made significant strides in both fields. Tarver first gained recognition when she participated in the reality TV show "American Juniors" in 2003, where she made it to the Top 10 before her elimination in August of that year.
Her journey as a musician began in earnest in 2011 when she independently released her debut EP, "A Little More Free," produced by Matt Grabe. She further honed her musical prowess by opening for Honor Society on their "Wherever You Are" tour in 2011 and later touring alongside bands like The Cab and Parachute in 2012. One of her notable achievements as a songwriter came in 2014 when she co-wrote the hit single "Crazy Stupid Love" for British singer Cheryl, which soared to the top of the UK Singles Chart.
In 2017, Tarver dropped her second EP, "Tired Eyes," which included the viral sensation "You Don't Know," amassing over 50 million views on YouTube by mid-2021.
