Kacey Lee Musgraves (born August 21, 1988) was born in Golden, Texas, United States. She is a rising American country singer. She is professionally known as Kacey Musgraves. Her musical journey commenced in the early 2000s, marked by the independent release of three solo albums. Additionally, she contributed her talents to the duo Texas Two Bits, recording another album that showcased her versatility.
In 2007, Musgraves stepped into the national spotlight as a contestant on the fifth season of the USA Network's Nashville Star competition, finishing in seventh place. It was a pivotal moment that paved the way for her subsequent success.
