About Icewear Vezzo
Icewear Vezzo, born Chivez Smith on October 31, 1989, in Detroit, Michigan, is a well-known American rapper and the founder of Iced Up Records. He became a significant figure in Detroit's hip-hop scene, gaining attention for his mixtape series Clarity and Rich Off Pints. Vezzo’s career began to take off in 2012 with the release of his debut mixtape, The Clarity, followed by sequels like The Clarity 2: Can’t Stop the Count in 2013 and The Clarity 3: Fully Blown in 2014. His Clarity mixtapes helped solidify his place in the Detroit rap scene, with Clarity 3 even charting on the Heatseekers Albums chart.
In 2015, Vezzo continued his success with Clarity 4: I Can't Fall Off, which featured the popular track "Moon Walken." He further built his name with the 2016 mixtape Moon Walken. In late 2018, he signed with Motown Records, marking a new chapter in his career. Under Motown, he released Clarity 6 in December 2018, featuring notable collaborations with artists like Kash Doll. His debut Motown single, "Balance," with Big Sean, came out in early 2019.
