Gursimran Singh Sidhu (born July 11, 1997) was born in Bathinda, Punjab, India. He is an Indian singer, record producer, and songwriter associated with Punjabi Music and Punjabi cinema. He is professionally known as Gur Sidhu. He has gained immense popularity for his remarkable songs, including "8 Parche," "Bamb Aagya," "Vaddi Galbaat," "Gabhru," "Dekhi Jau," "Ashke Ashke," "Taakre," and many others.
Sidhu embarked on his musical journey after completing his graduation by moving to Canada. It was there that he was discovered and launched by Nav Sandhu, who helped him release his debut song titled "Moved On" on 8 May 2019. Soon after, Sidhu collaborated with Baani Sandhu for the sensational track "8 Parche," which was released in September 2019 under the esteemed label of White Hill Music. The song quickly became a massive hit and further solidified his position in the Punjabi music industry. Following this success, in October 2019, Sidhu released "Pyar Bolda" alongside Jassa Dhillon.
