Dan Griffith, better known by his stage name Gryffin, is an American musician, DJ, and music producer born on September 29, 1987. He initially gained fame for his remixes of popular songs like Tove Lo’s "Talking Body," Maroon 5’s "Animals," and Years & Years’ "Desire." His career began in 2009 when he started making music under the name White Panda alongside his childhood friend Tom Evans. The duo became part of a new wave of mashup artists gaining popularity, particularly in college music scenes. They toured nationally and performed at major events like the Firefly Music Festival and Lollapalooza.
In 2015, Gryffin made his debut as a solo artist at the SnowGlobe Music Festival. He then moved to Los Angeles to further his music career and be closer to his label and management team. Over time, Gryffin's unique blend of melodic electronic music earned him recognition for his catchy production and emotional depth.
