    About Glass Animals

Glass Animals, an English indie rock band formed in Oxford in 2010, has made a significant impact on the music scene with their unique sound and captivating lyrics. Fronted by singer, songwriter, and producer Dave Bayley, the band also comprises his childhood friends Joe Seaward, Ed Irwin-Singer, and Drew MacFarlane. Growing up in Massachusetts and Texas before settling in Oxford, Bayley's diverse upbringing influenced the band's eclectic musical style.

Their debut album, "Zaba" (2014), showcased their innovative approach to music and spawned the hit single "Gooey," which achieved platinum certification in the United States. Glass Animals' sophomore release, "How to Be a Human Being," garnered critical acclaim and earned them accolades, including UK Album of the Year and Self Producing Artist of the Year at the 2018 MPG Awards. Additionally, the album secured a spot on the prestigious Mercury Prize shortlist.
