He is professionally known as Divine. Divine's passion for music began at a young age, and he started gaining recognition after the release of his song "Yeh Mera Bombay" in 2013.
However, it was his collaboration with Naezy on "Mere Gully Mein" in 2019 that brought him mainstream success and made him a household name. The song's popularity even inspired the 2019 Bollywood film, "Gully Boy," which is loosely based on Divine's life.
In addition to his musical career, Divine has also ventured into the business side of the industry. This was in recognition of his album Punya Paap, which had topped the charts on Apple Music India.
Moreover, Divine has received numerous accolades for his contribution to the Indian music industry. He made his debut at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards in 2022, where he was the first Indian hip-hop artist to attend the prestigious event.
