Destiny Rogers (born September 13, 1999) was born in Lodi, California, United States. She is an American singer. Rogers is fluent in Spanish from growing up in a Mexican household through her mother's side of the family. She gained recognition with the release of her EPs "Tomboy" in 2019 and "Great Escape" in 2020.
Rogers' musical journey took off when a family friend shared her YouTube cover with the production duo The Stereotypes in 2017. Impressed by her talent, they started collaborating, and Rogers would spend one weekend a month in Los Angeles working on music with them for two years. She signed with their label in February 2018 and later joined RCA Records in November.
Rogers draws inspiration from artists such as Justin Bieber, H.E.R., Kehlani, and Billie Eilish. Her debut single, "Tomboy," was released on February 28, 2019, accompanied by a music video shot in her hometown, featuring skateboarding and appearances by professional skater Mariah Duran. The "Tomboy" music video gained additional attention when K-Pop star Lisa from Blackpink released a choreographed version. This led to a remix of the song featuring rapper Coi Leray and a new music video in April 2021.
In addition to her solo work, Rogers has collaborated with various artists. She co-wrote the track "All or Nothing" for K-Pop singer Nayeon's debut solo project in June 2022. Rogers was also featured in the remix of Thuy's song "In My Bag" in August 2022. Furthermore, she appeared on James Reid's album, contributing to the song "Lie to Me," and the accompanying music video was filmed in Manila, Philippines.
In May 2021, Rogers released a single and music video titled "West Like," featuring Kalan.FrFr. She also teamed up with B.I and Tyla Yaweh for a joint single called "Got It Like That." However, towards the end of 2022, Rogers announced her departure from RCA Records.
