About Curtis Harding
Curtis Harding, born on June 11, 1979, in Saginaw, Michigan, is an American singer and songwriter known for blending soul with influences from blues, gospel, psychedelia, R&B, and rock. His unique "slop 'n' soul" sound has earned him recognition in the music world. Raised in a musical family, Curtis grew up touring with his mother, a gospel singer, which shaped his deep connection to music. In his teenage years, his family moved to Atlanta, where his career began to flourish.
In the 2000s, Harding worked as a backup singer for CeeLo Green, gaining valuable experience in the industry. He later teamed up with members of the Black Lips to form Night Sun, an R&B and garage rock band, in 2009. This collaborative spirit helped him refine his style and stage presence.
