She is professionally known as Clairo. Clairo began her musical journey at the tender age of 13, sharing her music on the internet and gradually building a dedicated following. Her breakthrough came in 2017 with the viral success of the music video for her lo-fi single "Pretty Girl," which garnered widespread attention for its relatable lyrics and DIY aesthetic. This sudden rise to prominence led to a record deal with Fader Label, under which she released her debut EP, Diary 001, in 2018.
