About Charlie Puth
Charles Otto Puth Jr. (born December 2, 1991) was born in Rumson, New Jersey, United States. He is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is professionally known as Charlie Puth. He gained initial recognition through the success of his song videos uploaded to YouTube. His talent soon caught the attention of the music industry and he was signed to the record label eleveneleven in 2011. Puth's exceptional performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show led to his signing with Atlantic Records and Artist Partner Group.
In 2015, Puth released his debut single, "Marvin Gaye," featuring Meghan Trainor. The song was an instant hit and established Puth as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Later that same year, he was featured on the single "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa, which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 for 12 non-consecutive weeks. The song was certified 11× Platinum by the RIAA and earned Puth a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Original Song, as well as three Grammy nominations, including one for Song of the Year.
