    About Biffy Clyro

Biffy Clyro is a popular Scottish rock band from Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, formed by Simon Neil (lead vocals, guitar) and twin brothers James (bass, backing vocals) and Ben Johnston (drums, backing vocals). The band, signed to 14th Floor Records, has released nine studio albums and gained widespread recognition in 2007 with their fourth album, Puzzle. This album peaked at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and earned Platinum certification.

Their fifth album, Only Revolutions (2009), reached No. 3 in the UK and achieved double-platinum status by 2011. It featured hit singles like "Mountains," "That Golden Rule," and "Many of Horror." The latter gained additional fame when Matt Cardle, winner of The X Factor 2010, covered it, making it the UK’s Christmas No. 1 single that year. The band’s growing success led to nominations for the Brit Awards in 2011 and a win for Best British Band at the 2013 NME Awards.
