Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi (born January 27, 1996) was born in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria. He is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is professionally known as Bella Shmurda. His journey in arts began from his early days through being a part of his elementary school band and cultural dance troupe.
He gained widespread recognition in 2019 with his breakout hit "Vision 2020." The track garnered attention, and a subsequent remix featuring renowned Nigerian rapper Olamide further propelled Bella Shmurda into the spotlight. He is also the frontman of Dangbana Republik, a collective of talented individuals in Lagos dedicated to community and humanitarian contributions.
Following the success of "Vision 2020," Bella Shmurda's popularity surged, thanks in part to a viral video by dancer Poco Lee, who showcased his skills to the infectious track.
