Kunpimook Bhuwakul (born May 2, 1997) was born in Bangkok, Thailand. He is a Thai rapper and singer who is part of the South Korean boy band Got7. He is professionally known as BamBam. BamBam moved to South Korea to train under JYP Entertainment, where he spent about three and a half years preparing for his debut. He first gained attention in 2013 on Mnet’s reality show WIN: Who Is Next, competing against trainees from YG Entertainment. Got7 debuted on January 16, 2014, with the song "Girls Girls Girls." In 2016, BamBam and his bandmate Jackson Wang appeared on the South Korean variety show Real Men. From March 2015 to March 2016, BamBam and Jinyoung hosted Mnet’s M Countdown alongside Key from Shinee.
In 2017, BamBam contributed to Got7’s lyric video for "You Are" and released a single called "Make It Right" in collaboration with several Thai artists. He also shared a video titled "My Year 2018" on Got7's YouTube channel to express gratitude to his fans.
BamBam’s solo activities began to gain momentum in 2019. He joined Jus2’s ‘Focus’ Premiere Showcase as an MC and released a self-directed video titled "Feel It, See It" featuring moments from Got7’s American tour. He also collaborated with Thai rapper F. Hero on the track "Do You."
In 2020, BamBam sang his first original soundtrack, "I’m Not a Con-Heartist," for the Thai movie The Con-Heartist. The song was released on November 16. Following his departure from JYP Entertainment in January 2021, he signed with Abyss Company in March and won the Inspirational Role Model for Youth Award.
BamBam made his solo debut in South Korea on June 15, 2021, with the extended play Ribbon. He performed at major events such as SBS 2021 Super Concert and K-Expo. On December 28, 2021, he released "Who Are You," featuring Seulgi from Red Velvet, as a pre-release for his upcoming album. His second extended play, B, was released on January 18, 2022, with the single "Slow Mo."
In April 2022, BamBam released the digital single "Wheels Up," featuring Mayzin, under Golden State Entertainment. He also acted as MC for Mark Tuan’s solo fan meeting in Thailand.
BamBam's first studio album, Sour & Sweet, came out on March 28, 2023. His world tour, Area 52, took him to various countries and sold out over 50,000 tickets for his Thai show. On May 4, 2024, he performed an encore concert for his Area 52 tour at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, featuring a special appearance by Red Velvet’s Seulgi.
