About Backstreet Boys
The "Backstreet Boys" (often shortened to BSB) have etched their name in the annals of music history as one of the most successful vocal groups of all time, formed in 1993 in Orlando, Florida. Consisting of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson, their journey to fame commenced with the international release of their debut album, simply titled "Backstreet Boys," in 1996. The subsequent year saw the unveiling of their second international album, "Backstreet's Back" (1997), alongside their eponymous U.S. debut, propelling their popularity to new heights across the globe.
Solidifying their status as global icons, the group reached superstardom with the release of their third studio album, "Millennium" (1999), which featured the chart-topping anthem "I Want It That Way." The momentum continued with "Black & Blue" (2000) and a greatest hits compilation, "The Hits – Chapter One" (2001). Following a brief hiatus, the band reconvened to drop the comeback album "Never Gone" (2005), albeit minus Richardson, who pursued other ventures post the "Never Gone Tour" in 2006. Undeterred, the quartet pressed on, delivering albums like "Unbreakable" (2007) and "This Is Us" (2009).
