Album Overview
"F-1 Trillion" is the sixth studio album by American rapper and singer Post Malone. It will be released on August 16, 2024, through Republic and Mercury Records. This album marks a big change for Malone as he moves into country music. It will feature well-known country stars such as Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, and Hardy. The album was produced by Louis Bell, Charlie Handsome, and Hoskins. In an interview with The Howard Stern Show in June 2023, Malone was asked about making a country album. He mentioned that while he’s busy with concerts, writing music, and taking care of his family, he might find time to make a country album in the future. He expressed that if he gets another year to himself, he could very well decide to make a country album.
Before the album comes out, Malone has already released three singles. These are “I Had Some Help,” “Pour Me a Drink,” and “Guy for That.” The first single, “I Had Some Help,” was released on May 10, 2024. This song features country singer Morgan Wallen. It made a big impact right away, debuting at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. It had the highest weekly sales and streams since 2020, giving Malone his sixth number-one song and Wallen his second. The song quickly gained popularity, getting 167 adds at country radio in its first week, a record only matched by Garth Brooks in 1997. It also set a new Spotify record for single-day country streams with nearly 14 million streams. The song topped charts on Apple Music and Pandora and even debuted at number 18 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Malone performed “Never Love You Again” and “I Had Some Help” at the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards on May 16, 2024, in Frisco, Texas.
